Our Location Crest View Manor is
nestled on a tree-covered hilltop with a 360o view of lovely Escondido. During the day,
enjoy sweeping views of the Escondido valley and the hills
beyond. In the evening, the lights of the city twinkle
from below. Situated high above downtown Escondido,
we are close to everything, yet quiet.
Owned and operated by the Cook family for three
generations, Crest View Manor offers experience in caring
for your loved one. We are large enough to be
professional yet small enough to maintain a loving
homelike atmosphere. We offer a lifestyle that
supports independence, but as the need for more assistance
occurs, our staff is ready to help with daily
activities.

Our Facility Originally built
as a home for a member of the prominent Scripps
family, our facility has tradition and elegance
with all the comforts of home. Two
additions have been made to the original structure
providing us with 35 private and semi-private rooms.
Some of the rooms open to patios and many have
views.
Our living room features multiple sitting
areas, a big-screen TV, a piano and a warm fireplace.
Our History Crest View Manor has served the elderly
community for over 35 years. We have been owned and
operated by the Cook family for three generations.
The original Scripps home has fireplaces in the dining room and living room bringing a homelike ambiance to our public areas.
Our Accommodations For your convenience, we offer private and
semi-private suites with full baths, intercoms, cable TV,
private telephones and emergency call systems. All
